About the Event
-Location: Mt Hood Meadows on Stadium
-What: Panel Slalom. Each racer gets 4 runs.
-When: Course setting starts at 9, Racing to start at 10
-Who is eligible: Any current SVSC Member, prospective SVSC member (new guys or interested guys), current and prospective Skiyente Ski Club members. If you are hosting a newbie, please ensure that they have completed the appropriate waivers and know how to buy a discount ticket, when to show up, etc.
Required Waivers: 1.) FWRA, 2.) Meadows
FWRA: This waiver is attached to this email. If you have registered for PACRAT for this season, you've already completed this and can disregard (even if you are racing on a non-Schnee team).
Meadows: Online only. Go to skihood.com > Events & Race Leagues > Ski Race & Snowboard Leagues > Race and Competition Waiver. From there, you will need to login or create a login. Fill out your details and in the drop down menu for "Organization," select Schnee Vogeli. This link should take you there: https://www.skihood.com/en/raceauthorizationagreement
Discount Racer Tickets: A full-price ticket for Meadows on Sunday is $149. Our racer ticket price is $55, plus $2 for the physical card if you don't already have one. Previous tickets/early load passes can be reused so bring one if you have one. To purchase the discounted ticket, go to the ticket booth outdoors and let them know you are with Schnee Vogeli and need a racer ticket.
Bib numbers are attached. Please try and remember if possible. Dale will send the Skiyente list to their club.
After race tailgater: Ed Rogers is hosting us in his garage on Saturday after the race. BYOB, dress warmly.
