Mt. Hood Masters Mania combined with the Skiyente Memorial Cup will be March 1, 2020 at Ski Bowl and we anticipate it being a huge success like in years past!
At the 2020 Mt. Hood Master's Mania the combined efforts of Skiyente Ski Club and Schnee Vogeli led to a huge success of the only PNSA/USSA Masters Ski Race on Mt. Hood! The efforts of the two Clubs, the Committee, the Supporting Sponsors and all the Volunteers came together on March 5 and March 6 for one of the best Master's races in the circuit. The weather cooperated for a great weekend.
Skiyente members volunteered long hours on Saturday gatekeeping for the two Schnee Vogeli Turkey Slalom races and then again on Sunday for the Skiyente Memorial Cup Giant Slalom. Not only did Skiyente members help orchestrate and organize the events of the weekend, several Skiyente members actually donned their race suits and raced with the Master's! Many of the master's ski racers, who race the circuit thoughout the winter months, say that the Skiyente memroial Cup Giant Slalom is the BEST course they race all season! They say that the race always is well organized, on time and exciting!
Thank you Sandi for all of your passion and dedication for this race. Sandi Shaub is instrumental in putting on this long time race. Thanks for all of your hard work!
As Sandi says, "It takes a village to put on this race!" She would like to thank Skiyente, Schnee Vogeli, our Volunteers and our Supporting Sponsors! Add an amazing effort from an amazing ski club to bring it all together! The history of these ski races on Mt. Hood starts way back in 1959, and will hopefully be supported well into the future!

Common Sense, it is one of the most important things to keep in mind and practice when on the slopes.
