What's the Installation of Officers?

Skiyente has lots of traditions -- some go back for decades. If you're new to the club, the New Member Info articles will get you caught up fast.


Skiyente is run entirely by volunteers: a board of directors, committee leaders, and ad hoc volunteers. Every May, the membership elects a new board of directors who are installed in June and serve for the next year. Board members include:

  • President

  • Vice President

  • Treasurer

  • Secretary

  • Communications

  • Historian

The installation of officers is when we get together to thank the outgoing board and welcome the incoming board. And let's be honest, it's another excuse to have a party.
